Engine

I have a 97 Gt. I am replacing the motor. This guy has a motor out of a 98 mustang gt (SN95)with 60k on it. I don't know what that means by the way.(sn95)?Will that motor fit in my car without any hassel's?

K. A 98 has npi heads and only 215 hp. A 99 has pi heads and 260 hp. Shoot for a 99 or newer motor or put pi heads in that one.

Re: Engine

What Everett said. A '98 engine will be a direct bolt in, and should be the same exact engine as in your '97. PI heads will really wake it up though.

Pi heads on a non pi motor actually has more power than a pi motor does because the cr is increased
