Jet noise?

I've noticed this since I first drove the car, but my '02 GT acts kinda strange when in gear but now on the gas. First off, when I'm in gear and am going at speed, and let's say around 2k RPM, and I get off the gas and coast, it jolts two or threes times and makes a whine, but when I push in the clutch or have it in neutral, it is completely silent. It does this at any speed, really. And also when I'm in gear and am on the gas, it makes a... I don't know how to describe it. It's really loud if I'm driving next to a wall or barrier, but when I'm on open road I can barely hear it. It's like, a electric-mechanical buzz.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I checked the vacuum hose and it didn't seem to be leaking or lose.

Re: Jet noise?

Haha, thanks bro. BR traffic sucks, but the bus sucks even more when you could be driving your car. What a conundrum. :/

It's really difficult to explain. The clutch is perfect, clean and crisp. Engine is in phenomenal condition, already ran fuel injector cleaner and gas treatment.. usually put it in every other tank. I run Premium fuel only.. Idk.

Not sure if I can get clear audio due to wind while driving, but I'll find out tomorrow.

Yeah, me too. I'll be getting back with it in a few days hopefully. It's not really worrying me more than annoying me.

Re: Jet noise?

Here's a short video I did from the inside, it might be hard to hear.. But it sounds like a bouncing rubbing noise right when I let off the gas.

Re: Jet noise?

Thanks for the kind words. I can make them change colors, too. Haha.

And yeah... It's an awkward sound... I know it has to be the clutch or tranny, though. Because in neutral it doesn't make any sounds and doesn't lurch while slowing down.

My car does the exact same thing, it's normal, just weird... Is your car throwing a cel?

Okay... Yeah, I'd say it's normal then... When my maf was unplugged it did that. But it threw the cel and was extremely jumpy
