Need a new motor

Well found out today my old fuel pump, that was set up for a supercharger that was removed before me , was too big and pumpin to much fuel into the cylinders and the access overflowed into the oil. The motor still runs strong but some of the bearings are shot. Figured I'd find a second motor and build it the way I want so when the other "blows up" the second one is ready. So any information on any 99-04 cobra motors supercharged or not please let me know. Not wanting to spend a bunch but curious to how cheap they are goin. Thanks

Nope not that I've seen The plugs were horribly fouled from all the gas tho and were black. There may have been a small bit of oil in the tops of the pistons but not for sure

03/04 cobra motors on ebay are taking 5-7k to pick up so ... you may can find a manual mach 1 motor (manual trans = forged crank)

Ya Ima hit up the late model salvage yards around Evansville and also auto rv magazines and classifieds around here. If I could get a whole car for a good price I prob will as long as the motor is good but the chances of finding a wrecked cobra or Mach are slime to none :/

yea, pull a parts might be a good starting place as well. You can also get a 4v 4.6L out of a Lincoln that some say works

Well if I were stripping her down to a bare block I would but I'mpretty sure the internals are diff in a Lincoln and Ima try to save some cash by reusing some of the parts pistons, heads, crank, cams But if I were doin a bare block rebuild I sure would
