Audio Help...

Hey all... I have been talking to some fellow mustang owners here in the area and they are all telling me my radio is ****ed up...

1 I hardly listen to it because when the top is down... whats the point haha...

2 Once I heard a normal setup I got pissed.

I have a pioneer pb8000 headunit in the car. I literally have NO bass at all... i have nothing but treble. What I am being told is that anytime an aftermarket head unit is put in that the Mach system gets screwed.

I need help! i just want some bass in the car instead of pure treble!!!

any ideas?

Re: Audio Help...

There is a wiring kit that is needed to use the Mach 460 woofers. crutchfield.com or any audio shop carries them.

Re: Audio Help...

if you install an aftermarket head unit on a mach 460 system you need somethign else I think to make it work as you just removed some of the power from the factory head unit~ not sure exactly but its something that happens a lot.

I guess I should say, if you still have your Mach 460 head unit, reinstall it and get that item I sen you a link on! Mine worked wonderfully! I moved later to an aftermarket head unit with aftermarket sound, it just didn't sound good at all! I missed my 460 setup!
