V8 Question

I have a 01 v6 but I plan on buying a v8 soon. I have dual BORLA stingers on my 6 and idk how much of a sound improvement it will give me compared to a stock v8 exhaust. Any advice?

Go to American muscle and listen to the sound clips. Exhaust is all a personal preference.

I personally like the 1 chamber race flowmasters. second would be the magnapacks, third would be slp's. Nothing wrong with the borlas, just a personal preference

Re: V8 Question

Well, imo stock v8 exhaust sounds better than modded v6 exhaust...so I'd say Borla Stingers on a v8 would be pimpin.

Not bad. If you got 5k stop asking questions and boost that sixxer and then smoke every gt you see. I would turbo it and call it done.

No. I have a sixxer so i wish that was true. But it is impossible or a v6 to ever sound better than even a stock v8. It cant happen.

I would definitely go o/r x and Borla or SLP. That would sound really mean. good luck! AM will be having an exhaust sale coming up soon.

Nit what I meant. I mean BORLA makes a larger sound gain on a six than on a 8. I helps a six more than a eight is what I mean

Well I meant to trade up to a v8. The 5k includes my car I have now. I only has about 90,000 on it. I should be able to pull 5 with no problem. One of my friends offered me 5,500 for it. It will be about a year before I intend to sell it though.
