Tint

I ordered some tint from eBay, and I have a few questions.

Should I buy from a more reputable source?

Do I clean the window before hand?

Should I get 5% or 20%? Could you post some pictures?

Can I use a credit card as a squeegee?

Can really help you other than the tint, but I have 20% and it's great. Still have visibility at night and nice and dark. Idk, if you could get 15% it would probably be better. Just my $0.02

Check out your local tint shops. A few around here have the machine that precuts the tint. Makes life easier. There are tint kits from your local auto parts stores including squeegee. Tinting is not a fun job. I would rather pay a pro to do a job like that.

+1
I can do anything to a car besides tint windows. If I want mine done, I take it somewhere.

I've tried tinting a couple of times, it's very difficult to do without precut pieces. A huge PITA. It's really worth it to have someone else do it. Credit card may be a bad idea because it has a small surface area and my tear the tint as well. It will take huge amounts of patience if you've never done it before. I gave up after several hours of messing with it, the 100 bucks to have it down was more than worth it. The cheap tint usually comes out looking purple too, I've seen than around looks horrible

Yea, I tried with a credit card without cleaning the window and it tore the tint so I am going to get it done professionally
