Fuel pump relay - Mustang Evolution

Fuel pump relay

Ok im having trouble with my car not starting. It just cranks but no start. Battery works fine. Someone said it could be my relay and i cant find where its at. Ima change out my fuel pump tomorrow.

The relay should be in the fusebox somewhere. Check the one under the hood.

There is a fuel pump cut off switch left side in the trunk. Make sure it is not switched off.

Ah dammit. The elusive shut off switch. Forget that thing every time!

I checked the switch in the trunk is is on. And i already checked the relay under the hood. The only thing i can think it is. Is my ccrm or my pump.

Does the relay click when you turn the key on? If so, turn the key off for a few seconds. Have someone turn the key back to run while you hit the bottom of the gas tank. Sometimes that will kick the pump back on. That may also let you know if it's the pump.

Yea it clicks when i turn the key on. And ive tried hittin the gas tank too. Nothing.

Pretty sure it's the pump anyway. Only other way to tell for sure is a test light. Good luck.

So the clicking noise coming from the ccrm is normal then?

Just make sure you are touching the fuel pump relay itself. Other relays will click also.
