Exclamation Crack cover, not my fault! Who the hell doesnt torque the bolts down on IRS brace!

Well I found out why my differential cover crack. The previous owner installed the IRS brace either without (which I can't believe) or not torquing down the 2 outside bolts. One bolt was GONE!!! And thats how this happens! See pictures.

Approx $700 later with new LPW Cover = All better!

Still pissed!

LOL, sorry guys work has been crazy! Been traveling all over the Midwest for the last 3 weeks.

No changing gear yet. I also thought about going with solid rear end. To much $ for right now.

They can back out on their own...

Had a buddy's start leaking, the bolts were all hand-tight all the way around. We had torqued them previously during the install. There is now lock-tite on all bolts.

I will tell the shop to put lock tight on the bolts. I do not want this problem ever again. Specially with the new LPW cover! I have heard good things about this cover.

Parts from American Muscle arrive today. Car should be wrapped up Friday afternoon.

not sure I would put lock tite on the bolts if its an entire new cover, I think he mainly ment the bolts you use for the diff brace~ good question though.

We're all settled down and doing well.

There's also 5 terminators right here in this little area now. We're having alot of fun lol.
