Throttle Body RTV?

Instead of using the gasket would it be better to use RTV?

No...try swapping it after you do that. The paper one should be re-useable.

He means that if you put silicone on it and try swapping it out again anytime, it's going to be one hell of a mess.
A new paper gasket shouldn't set you back but maybe a couple of bucks.

A paper gasket came with the kit. It just seemed a little wimpy. Haha.

Yeah, it does the job though. I always thought they should be a better piece too, but they work just fine!

Haha. Yeah. Even before I found out the big deal in misbadging I thought the car would look sick shaved. But I'm going to wait a little while and re-paint it then I'll shave the emblems. Gonna be nice.
