Tires?

I got the nitto 555 and I gotta say they are awesome, good treadwear and great traction wet or dry.

Yep. So do I. I've got drags out back. Suck in rain but fantastic to drive on dry roads.

Re: Tires?

right now i'm running the BFG G-Force T/A's since they came stock on the car...I like them but they slip easy in the rain.

I'm think of going with Conti Extreme Contacts when I need to replace.

Toyo is a great wet tire. I keep them on the tahoe. 12 1/2 inches wide and no hydroplaning. All the other brands I've tried have given me problems. I've worked at a lot of tire shops and tried a lot of brands. Michelin is still the best tire made.

Well I have the drag radials for the strip, what I need is a good set of touring, sticky when wet tires for the rear. My fronts are still in like new shape. The rears....well I drive a mustang. I will be putting alot of highway miles on and I corner pretty hard so stickier the better. I was gonna go with a 275/40/17 for the back. Has anyone had any problems with that size tire on a stock pony rim

Have you run nitto drags? Just wondering how they compare cruising and launching.

Lol didn't see the wet part and the tires I got for the drags howl like crazy and make for very bad road noise but I got my Cooper zeon's for my summer tire and they are an awsome tire and the tread wear on them is amazing!
