Intercooler question

I have a front mount universal intercooler and I'm stumped. Should I be cooling the air going into the supercharger or the air leaving the supercharger going into the throttle body? Does anyone have a diagram or link I can go to and look at a air to air set up on a Stang? Thanks

Re: Intercooler question

you only want to cool it AFTER its compressed (after it has left the supercharger) as the compression is where the heat comes from, before its compressed (before it goes into the supercharger) would be a waste.

If you have a front mount I assume you have a centrifugal supercharger. The compressed air should leave the supercharger go thru the intercooler and into the throttle body. If you have a front mount and a roots twin screw, that will make me chuckle

No its a Vortech V3. I just wasn't sure what the proper way to hook it up was. Thanks for the help guys. I wish it was a twin screw!
