We installed our cai and I just had a question. We try not to drive in the rain with our Mustang but does it hurt anything if we do with the filter now being in the fender?

It should be shielded by the inner fender well. It shouldn't be exposed. Can you see the filter when you are at the wheel? If you can then you need an inner fender well
