Help

So a week ago I get my SCT tuner and hook it up to my car. Ran it for a while on the 87 tune with no problems. Three days ago I put 93 octane in it so I can run the 93 tune. Then yesterday my service engine soon light came on. Checked the codes and they were p1000 and p0405. Cleared the codes and it drove about 2 miles before the SES light came on again. Is this from the 93 tune or is it just a coincidence?

Did you completely drain the 87 octane from the tank. Even if there was 1/4 tank left of the 87 it would dilute the 93 to less than 93. It's prolly closer to 91. I suggest when you fill up be sure the tank is as close to empty as possible before filling.

Thank you Everett. Turned the tune back to 87 and it didn't come on.
