1996 Mustang engine question

I've an 96 mustang v6 with a 5 speed that I bought for $400 with a bad tranny I put a new tranny in it but now I want more power and have alot of ideas just don't know if some will work or not so here goes
Big block 460 but don't know if it will fit had one in my old mustang but it was a tight fit (89 fox body)
Big block 400 again don't know if it will fit
Small block 351 stroked to 408 I think it will fit but not sure
Small block 302 stroked to 347 I know it will fit but like my grandfather always told me bigger is better
So if anyone had, has, or even seen a big block in the 94 thur 98 body style mustang let me know thanks

all your combos will fit up to "03 mustang as long as u use a v6 k-member (which u already have) or an aftermarket k-member for 94-95gt

Re: 1996 Mustang engine question

you can build the 3.8L but the end result probably wont make you happy vs the money invested.

If you want to go cheap then you can build a carb'ed motor, trans, and 8.8 rear end with upgraded fuel lines/pump setup and your good to go.

y would he have to upgrade fuel lines if he stays below '99 1/2? (99 1/2 v6 went to returneless lines) he would just have to a return.

o...ok. well even with carbed cars an in-line electric or mechanical block mount pump will pull fuel through an existing in-tank... the chevy guys taught me that trick with efi to carb camaros
