2001 GT

Haven't even washed it yet (its literally rained everyday, I hate Ohio).

Think I'm set on doing a Procharger. Planning on it being my winter project. Long as I can spare the cash.

If i get into the 11's after a procharger and tune, I'll be happy. I'll probably do axles/gears this winter aswell, I'm sure I'll need to.

Anyone have suggestions for places to have it tuned, preferably somewhere near Cleveland Ohio? I went to a semi-local place to have an F-body tuned after a HC job and I was never happy. Im staying with converters, i need to pass emissions, and I want to keep it as close to stock as possible.

Thanks ahead of time.

Sweet looking ride, I would get an aluminum driveshaft and 4.10s if it's just a track car, if it's a daily driver I would get 3.73 or maybe 3.90s. If you get a good enough tune, the 3.90s can give you 11s at the track. How much boost do you think you'll be running?

I'm thinking 10ish, but I'm not 100% sure yet. It'll never be a "daily" driver, but i certainly plan on driving it semi-often.

I RARELY do interstate driving, so I might go with the 4:10's. We'll see though.

Thanks!

Be careful with a steeper gear if you're boosting.. I hear it's not a very good combination. Just my two cents, though.

From what I understand, steep gears like 3.90+ when combined with higher HP supercharged engines makes the gear almost disappear because it revs through it so quickly..

But that's just from what I've picked up from random articles I spied on. Might want to just use y words as a basis to ask more questions to more informed members like Spector, Saleenfied, or Everette.
