Clutch Replacement

I will soon be getting a new clutch and flywheel resurface and was wondering what clutches y'all have had and tend to like more..? In the future I will be upgrading internals and going forced induction so I will be shooting for about 380-410rwhp.
Any suggestions, tips, or prices?

Re: Clutch Replacement

yeah I've been wondering the same. My clutch is fine but eventually will want something a lot more durable in it when it comes time to replace it

I see. I need something that is stiff kinda like a stock clutch. I mean.. I could get used to a softer clutch but it feels weird.

Anyone else have opinions?

Re: Clutch Replacement

I've heard good things about centerforce clutches and the oem 03-04 cobra clutch kit. I have a spec stage 3 and the sucker holds, but the clutch is on/off and you can't slip it without a ton of chatter.

It's a ton of fun on the street, and the spec stage 3 has no problem holding it.

How rough is it to drive an on/off clutch for a DD? is it something you can get used to?

Re: Clutch Replacement

It's not that rough, i've been daily driving the car since I got it tuned, and i've gotten used to it. It's not that bad, you just have to deal with a little chatter. Definitely do-able though.
