Issues at idle

i started my car up today, like any other day, and it sounded like it was cam'n. I look down at my AFR and its bouncing around between 10.3-11.5ish at idle. Took it out for about a mile and everything else seems ok, but any time the car is at idle its runnin crazy rich. I thought it could be the Idle Air Control so i unbolted it and cleaned it out, and nope car is still actin a fool. My next thought is the MAF is shot. Anyone have any other ideas on what it could be?

Re: Issues at idle

I had the same problem on my car. Upon startup my air-fuel guage read 11.0-11.9, but stoich under normal driving conditions. My tuner said it had something to do with my upstream o2s being slow to respond. I replaced the o2s with ford replacements, and haven't had the problem since. Hope you problem is something simple like this as well. Good luck.

Yeah well I'm about to go crazy and order a bunch of parts cause mine is getting worse. It runs perfect over 2k but every time I get in stop and go traffic it messes up and dies. I crank it go afew feet and when I stop it dies again so might as well pull the ol cc out

When you barely put it in drive to go does it feel like it hesitates then you have to give it more gas to go?

Look at all your vac lines I had the same issue would run like I had stage 3 cams till it warmed up or I got on it. Turned out there is a line that runs from on side to the other on the motor that is in use when you first start the car then it shuts off any holes in this line and it willl run like crap till its warmed up
