Hey people I have had the ventshades on all my previous cars also known as rain guards. I was wondering if any of y'all have them an Do you like them on your beast. I looked at some for mine at auto zone and they didn't fit right. Post pics if you have some please. Thanks

Re: rain guards

I had some on my old trans am. Less wind noise and made it easier to smoke a cigrette in the rain ha ha.

Re: rain guards

I've seen them on mustangs before...they're the sort of thing you can put on a mustang, but don't quite fit, like mud flaps and a trailer hitch.

I know what your sayin but they don't ruin the cars lines like what you listed.

You're talking about the vent shields, the black plastic things that reside over your front windows to prevent rain from getting in.

They don't belong on the mustang. They ruin the looks of the car imo. Sure you can put them on the car, but they belong on pickup trucks, just like mudflaps and trailer hitches.

Keep in mind this is my opinion...if you want to put rain shields on your car more power to you..it's your car

Does anyone have them on their car? I don't think they would make an appearance difference on mine being that my car is black and So are my windows.

Re: rain guards

I want 'em on my silverado I saw some on a mustang and they were so slim they seemed kinda pointless didn't look like you would have had room to fit a cig through the window to ash.

Re: rain guards

Agree with spec, they just make it look odd...plus I'd NEVER let anyone smoke in or around my car and thats really the only time you would need them

Re: rain guards

plus they stick on the paint... and that just leads to major issues when and if you remove them.

and also +1 on smoking.. NEVER smoke in anyones car unless they tell you its ok, and never smoke AROUND anyones car either... another GREAT tip is dont flick your **** out the window... use with verts can get those wonderful things in the back seat if we are behind you and thus a burnt hole and I highly doubt you will pay for the damages....

Re: rain guards

I quit smoking 3years ago but one thing I think you should not do is smoke in your car it makes it smell bad and your windows get that yellow necotine haze on them.

Sorry phone fell and submitted message before I finished
As I was saying
Since it's the same stuff that Holds on your emblems and that comes off clean enough (and the paint still matches) I don't see any problems with them
Ps I don't smoke! I just love the way the air feels when it's raining but don't like the river of water that used to pour in if I cracked the windows in the rain
Problem solved
No complaints
No regrets
