Bypass Valve

When installing a Bypass valve on a supercharged car do you hook the Bypass vacuum to the positive vacuum or negative vacuum on the car? Thanks

Re: Bypass Valve

The bypass should see both vacuum and boost. What kind of supercharger kit is it?

Re: Bypass Valve

wut? i have never heard of that... positve or negative vacuum. it doesnt really matter where bud, just tap into the vacuum tree and go. at the end of the day all the vacuums lead right back to the intake.

i would try to get the line as close to the intake as possible and keep the hose short so u get a quick response time. either way though, it will work on any vacuum port u find.

Re: Bypass Valve

Thanks guys I wasn't sure if it's called positive and negative vacuum. Just some lines suck and some blow. It's a Vortech V3

Since it's a centri, like was said above, you can tee it into any of the vacuum lines.
