i dont have them but from everyone i know with 4.10's they love it, changed the car completly, makes it more fun to drive, of course faster off the line, but the only downside is your highway mileage will suffer greatly, if thats not a worry then go for it, you wont regret it!
yeah its ford racing, cant really get any better than that, and you want royal purple fluid in the rear best stuff on the market. you can shop around like americanmuscle.com to compare prices but i think they are all about the same with that kind of fluid and gears kit.
2.73 up to 4.10s is a huge jump, probably .6 tenths shaved off your time in the quarter or more~ but you will suck gas much more on the highway, rpms are much higher by far. If auto its ok if manual 3.73 might be a better all around driving gear.
Remember installation is NOT cheap and its not something most can do on their own. Expect 200-300~ or more for installation. If you are doing this on the stock 7.5 rear end you need to install a locker diff while you are at it, 200 bucks or so for a tlok unit OEM ford.
If you ever plan to go to the strip you could break the rear with any sort of hooking up~ so you may just wish to find a used 8.8 in good shape with gears already in it and swap it in.
