I have a 2002 GT and need to know what would be a good clutch to replace the stock one. It's a every day driver so I don't want a drag racing clutch I need to know about an easy on my foot clutch.
you can go back with just an OEM if it meets your need and future needs, other choices are mcloud, spec, centerforce, ram etc but as you said you dont want a stiff clutch.
I know spec and mcloud have great soft clutches for the power they hold. DO NOT USE THEIR THROWOUT BEARING BUY A FORD HEAVY DUTY THROWOUT BEARING!
also inspect the input shaft play and all the other stuff and replace the pilot bearing while there.
I have a centerforce dual friction in my 01 gt and I have no complaints at all, and the clutch pedal is lighter than stock.
