clutch slipping..oh my...

well it about that time...98 gt...bbk straight pipe, magna flow, cold air, tune.

i imagine that this clutch can hold this by a long shot correct? Daily driver and weekend tuner killer
RAM HDX Clutch (86-Mid 01 Mustang GT and 93-98 Cobra) at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping!

also..

speaking in a general term....could a guy like me(well above average mechanical skills) install this a clutch with the help of a buddy with no skills at all? we will have full lifts and shop tools and mechanics on the side if needed...could this be done on a weekend or a day(8hrs top)

First clutch install kinda nervous/excited to be honest...love to work on the ole devil.

thanks

Re: clutch slipping..oh my...

if you are around the stock power levels then dont buy a stiff clutch that holds 10000rwhp there is no need for that. Pick up a nice clutch for the levels you want to be in.

Re: clutch slipping..oh my...

Yes, you can do this. read the steps in your manual first so you are familiar with them. With all you have at your disposal this should be a half day job. I've done this, by myself, lying on concrete in the driveway. Not a fun job that way.
