Heres a clip i found of spintechs, the best part is they flow as good as slp and magnaflows, and sound like an original 40 on roids, thats just a cat back.

Sounds good, the car anyway. The voice sounds redneck and I'm wondering where your cowboy hat is to go along with those sh*t kickers you're sportin' in the video there, Tex?

If your on a budget like me the mac system is the way to go, and flows better than a lot of higher priced systems. Sounds good to esp with no cats and long tubes.

I've been listening to MAC systems. Do they make shorty headers?

Re: 3.5 inch or 4 inch tips?

For the price you would pay for MACs Spintech is a much better quality and performance muffler. as i said i have original 40's now, they sound great, but every other mustang has that sound, Spintech mufflers were designed as racing muffers, they flow as i have stated is up there with magnaflow, slp and borla, but the sound is a hybrid of both a chamber and straight thru muffler. nice throaty idle, Mean deep revs and a demon scream when you step on it, and a sound that not many mustangs have. Im personally going with their Sportsman Street mufflers, just gonna do a cut and weld, there was an article in 5.0 Mag with a header back Catted X and the Spintech Sportsman Cat back system, massive gains on the dyno and the sound is insane. Def look into them.

I noticed on the dynomax site they came up with a new muffler that eliminates drone! Anyone try these?

So the mac exhaust I have on mine is junk huh? And if 600 for long tubes off road x pipe and cat back is expensive guess I shopped at the wrong place then. Sure won't hear spintechs or what ever there called over mine, guaranteed.

Re: 3.5 inch or 4 inch tips?

First off dont be so sensitive, i never knocked MAC so get your panties out of its bunch, second, were talking about Mufflers, not a full exhaust, Third, in terms of FLOW which = PERFORMANCE, Spintech is a racing muffler, that means it has to have high flow performance, which it does, the MAC Flowpaths are 1 decible louder than the Spintechs, flow wise and performance wise, Spintech has MAC beat, it may only be by a hp or two but on the track where those 1-2 HP count its everything, but its not just that its, the sound they make over other chambered and straight thru mufflers, its different sound and tone. Many people haven’t heard of Spintech, but im sure All of you have heard of Kooks Headers. Kook Jr designed the Exhaust for my 95 Tbird when they were still here on Long Island. He was pushing Spintechs like crazy because well hes designes racing exhausts, knows how to squeeze every last pony out of your car exhaust wise and he only uses High End products so right there you know its good ****. Also, when i just did a price check, the price for your standard flowpath muffler is 87 bucks and spintechs are 89 a pop, also the average catback for MAC is about 350-400 so whatever deal you got on EVERYTHING for 600 bucks is beyond striking gold and not everyone will be as lucky and fortunate as you. thats why i was saying if your going to spend that kind of money, go the extra 2 bucks and get Spins. Its Different, MAC, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, SLP, Borla,Bassani they are all around us all the time. And to touch up on quality, i have seen many people complain that their macs rust out in just over a year or two, the chrome tips turn to ****, Cant wait to get my sportsmans welded in.

Re: 3.5 inch or 4 inch tips?

Man they must have had one damn good sale LOL, to get all of that for 600 is really hitting the exhaust jackpot, The LTs alone are 400 bucks and the lowest price for the cat back is 320 from MAC directly, that doenst even include the X-Pipe so you def hit it big with them.

There's a lot to choose from. A lot of them sound good but I just don't know what I want! Dynomax has always sounded good to me, but the macs and slp sound good too
