Unhappy Rounded nut on midpipe/header

The nut that holds the midpipe to the header stud is rounded. I've tried the Irwin sockets and it just keeps shaving my bolt. Can't fit my drimmel or anything else in there to cut the nut...any ideas?? Car is kinda sitting there useless right now. Thanks please
