Trans question

Okay so my car is having a little problem shifting from 1-2-3 I had this problem befor e with the stock quadrant went and got adj cable steel quadrant and all put it on adj and was fine. Okay so I am having the problem again it's bin 20,000 miles u think its time to adj it again I did a little helped a little. I was also thinking it's time to change the fluid again some better fluid also any inlet would be great the clutch is new 20,000 miles ago ram hdx clutch

do you have to push the clutch petal to the floor before it lets you shift? you may have to much slack in the cable.

Yea I do I came to the conclusion on the way home from break at work I tried to get on it a little bit no dice lol yea I am going to

if its an aftermarket cable it could be stretched and thats your problem, go OEM cable if you dont have the OEM quadrent then you will need a firewall adjuster and take the slack up good.

I can still adjust the cable a lot, I got the firewall adj already. As in there is a lot
Of tread left on the adj cable I have so I am going to try that when I get home from like now

the petal should be firm at the top and only take .5-1 inch pushing in before the rpms start to clip (hold gas stead and ease clutch in going down the road in gear)

Yea just was under the car cable is stretched so I called American muscle were I got it and they area sending me a new one for free!
