New tune up!

So today I just redid my plugs wires and coil packs. I went with ngk iriduims ix, msd wires and coil packs, I felt so much more power just cruising around and I noticed more gas efficentsy. I did all the work my self and my step dad got me the parts at price of cost the it was like 250-300 all together and it was definitely worth every penny. It runs and purrs better than ever. HIGHLY recommend any of these parts next time you get a tune up. You'll get a noticeable gain with hp and gas mileage

Re: New tune up!

New plugs and wires go a long way, especially if it's over due. Glad it helped

Oh they were way over due, still was on stock wires hahaha. The plugs were in deep need of replacement. They were getting corroded which was causing a deep missfire on my 4th cylinder and also my 3rd

If you still have them, what was the gap? I'm curious lol

I just did mine today and can't believe how smooth it ran. I highly recommend it and also changing out your frame mounted fuel filter. That will also help too with fuel efficiency.

Thanks for the inspiration... I have been considering swapping out plugs and coils for awhile. Just haven't "had to" yet so I haven't bothered with them.

Umm... They are... Just not near 100% at 100,000 miles. My truck went 170,000 miles with factory plugs and never missfired or set a cel.

Yeah I'm running on 148k and they're factory cop's and plugs. Although I'll probably change them out this weekend now that I've got it on my mind.
