Family influence

My bro-in-law has been staying with me for a couple of weeks until my sister gets here and they get moved into their new house. He rolled up in a 1990 Jeep Cherokee that was falling apart, so we have been taking my GT everywhere. This morning he gave me a call from a local dealership, where he was signing papers for an 02 GT Vert. Lol - I love it. Pics to come soon....

Re: Family influence

Well my block is full of mini-vans and huge pickups, so I guess it could always be worse. One of my neighbors has a Challenger that is pretty awesome, but he never drives it and doesn't even park it in his garage. It just sits in the driveway collecting dust. It will be a sad day when my brother-in-law moves into his house, as we will be back down to only one GT in the driveway.

Wow. I can't believe your neighbor would never drive such a nice car. Maybe you should get him hooked on the Mustang they are much cheaper to fix than mopars. Cars are meant to be driven not to sit. At least that's my opinion. Pretty awesome drive way with 2 GT's sitting there.

Thanks man, it does feel kinda cool pulling up and seeing another GT sitting there. And yeah I don't know the guy who has the Challenger personally, but his garage is packed with junk and he could probably go on the tv show "hoarders" because of all the stuff he keeps. I guess the only real repairs he'll have to worry about will be cosmetic if he never drives the car, though.

Yep and the sad part is my 98gt I drove for 5 years and never had a problem until the last month I owned it when the dreaded intake cracked.

My scion and Acura spent lots of time in for warranty work and repairs.

Yeah, I hear "Fix Or Repair Daily" from d-bags on a daily basis. When I ask them how many Fords they have owned in their lives, they all say the same thing: none. Can't knock it till you try it. I'll never buy anything else.

Me chevy never!! I agree bout the new powerstroke. Ford couldn't have made a better decision then manufacturing there own diesel, they don't have to worry bout quality anymore.

Buy the way did ford ever win that lawsuit against Navistar?
