Help needed

I cant seem to find what the rocker ratios for a stock 99-04 gt are. I'm looking at some new cams and I'm just not sure if I'll need new ones or not.

No rockers. This isnt a pushrod motor. Our cams push directly on "lifters" which are actually called hydraulic lash adjusters. They have a cap on top that the cam rides on. Gets rid of pushrods and rockers all together

Re: Help needed

you may wish to research cams anyway, from what ive seen the effort/price is simply not worth the end results on a bolt on car

It's not just gonna be a bolt on car though. Im planning on building the motor all at once come tax season and boring and stroking, cams and p&p heads and all new forged internals. I was planning on super charging it but I think that might be plenty of power for a street car. I figure that should be around 500 hp and that's alot for a street car

FF&MM built a 4.6 2v with just aggressive comp cams and stage 2 heads and they were able to make the engine put out 415hp. Then later in the article they put forged internals in it and a kenne bell 2.1 kit and at 14 psi it made 719hp which is just to much lol
