Re: Dr.colorchip

OK I used it this morning and I have mixed feelings about it.
1. It does not fill the chip it just puts the color back in so its hard to see.
2. On my color (E9) lazer red which is a tri coat it did not match 100%
3. On my road rash it did pretty good but its still not the perfect match.

This week end Im going to help my grandpa do his 05 GTO, I will report how that goes sence his is not a tri-coat.

Re: Dr.colorchip

its red but unfortunately dr. color chip can't actually replace the chip taken out, check with a body shop they might be able to do something for a 100 bucks or maybe this is a sign for a bad @$$ hood replacement

I think I've seen where you build the chip divot up with primer then cover it with the paint to even it out. That's for the larger sized chips.

The chip in the pic is not on the hood but the hood has a bunch too, I want to do some stuff to the engine before I start to dress it up.
