CAI problem

Today I installed my CAI from American Muscle (the 75$ one) And now my car at idle you can hear a miss. I will run but every few seconds it will give a very quiet pop noise. Do I need to disconnect my battery so the computer will recongnize some thing has changed?

Re: CAI problem

I'd try that first, but I don't think a CAI would make it do that

Take it off and put ur atock back on and see if u hear the noise if not then it is somethin with the intake. I kno for these u dont need a tune but maybe if u disconnect the battery for a while then start it again.

Re: CAI problem

Ok I disconected the battery and it helped so much I could hear and feel a difference when I drove it after I did the battery.
