Seat belts

anyone have a seat belt for sale for a 03 gt? Not a convertible. I've checked the junk yards around my house and non of them have any mustangs. And I really don't feel like buying a new one for the dealer.

Re: Seat belts

Give Derek a call at MPS Auto Salvage...they usually have a bunch of misc. parts off mustangs like that. They are a mustang specific salvage yard.

MPS Auto Salvage -Mustang salvage, New and Used Mustang parts

If they don't try Prestige Mustang out of Georgia.

Prestige Mustang Parts - Your #1 source for used antique and late model Mustang parts.

If neither salvage yard has it, try Latemodel Restoration or CJ Pony Parts. Both are site sponsors and sell OEM parts...probably cheaper than buying from the dealer.

Re: Seat belts

Out of curiosity, how did they break? I'm having a horrbile time with mine. After a few years, they just seem to not wanna retract back into their spool.

Well mustang seat belts are **** always have been and if you pull them out all the way and unfold them they don't get broke lol. Well my dad is a tool and I took him to the beer store one night before I went out and he decided that he was going to try and fix it. So I thought this was common knowledge in how to unfold a seat belt but nope not to him as I went In the gas station to take a piss he thought he would fix it! I have no clue what he did I just know I came back to the car with him saying hey I tried to fix your seat belt and couldn't so I just put it off. Fast ward 2 days later and my girlfriend is telling me her seatbelt won't work so I stopped by my buddies shop to take it off and fix it and the Dam thing is beyond repair. So now she gets to drive around without a seat belt now until I find one and I'll be dam if I'm paying close to 200 buck to buy a new one from ford.
