Drivers side window problem

I rolled my window down yesterday and now it won't roll back up. The switch makes a noise it's making a connection in the downward direction, but nothing when to try to roll it up. This happened once before, but fixed its self over night, but i just tried to roll it up this morning and nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Drivers side window problem

let it sit when it cools down in the evening and it may work, some have this issue, you can also try tapping the door area, harder and harder and see if it starts working

Is the motor failing? Has your window been slow to roll up lately?

The car sat all night and it didn't correct itself by morning like last time. I tried banging on the door and even took the switch panel off to check the connections but every thing looked good. The motor has been working normally and hasn't slowed at all.
