Tailight compatability

Would anyone happen to know if the taillights off a 2002 GT would fit on a 1996 GT?

I'm thinking what I'm innards do is get some lights off a '96 and lightly smoke them. The car is a '95 and I'm not a huge fan of the horizontal lines

Search this on the forum they were talking about it on this thread.

Is there a way to get/install the '99-'04 tail lights on '94-'98 mustang.

Just keep your stick lights. They look the best even if you don't like them. Once you start messing around with the lights it'll look like you want to be a ricer.

I'm just trying to get something a bit different. I don't want any huge sort of difference, I was looking at item# 300545699123 on eBay. I would just definitely get the outline painted the color of the car.

If you are going to spend that kind of money you might as well get sequentials

Aren't sequential's just a wiring kit? You could make them work on almost any light right?

You can get a splice in kit or a plug in. But a plug in kit is better. It would look cooler than smoked lights but I giving my opinion and I think it would look ba to have sequentials

So I couldn't go with smoked and sequential? I really like the sequential idea too!

My car is the bright red. I have 17" bullit wheels off of a '98 with gun metal spokes, I'm also planning on getting either a black grille or spray tinting the horse a light black, along with window tint and black headlights eventually. That was my plan anyway. I'm wanting to black out the car.

No, I'm trying to keep it from looking too extreme but at the same time something different. I'm not one of those guys that'll throw chrome or black stuff on anything and everything. Too much of a good thing just ruins it! Here's a couple pics of the car when I first got it. I'm just working on doing the engine swap now then I'll move on to exterior!
