Spoiler delete

I am looking to remove the spoiler from my 04 GT when I remove it I know there will be holes in the trunk from the spoiler but what are my options to remove them, is it easier to get a 6 banger trunk of fill them in???

I removed mine, and what i did is plugged them until i got them filled. Clay bar'd the residue left then I got plastic plugs from autozone, clear silicone and some touch up paint, I sanded the plugs and just plugged them in. looks good good.

Re: Spoiler delete

I have them professionally filled now but i might have some on my camera but ill tell you riding behind it ppl said they didnt notice but up close its obvious you can shave down the plugs to make them really flat almost unnoticeable, but im looking for pics at the moment

Re: Spoiler delete

you can find a truck from a car that had no spoiler to try it out, paint might not match 100% but it may~ just keep that in mind.

Thats probably the easiest way to go about it.

Me too! I found a wingless trunk lid and had it painted (I was having some other work done anyway). I had some second thoughts after I got it back, but it's grown on me and now I think it looks great. I think it makes the car look smaller, lower, and sleeker. All in all, I like it!

I did it my self I got bondo, and filled in the holes and used the spray paint that was color match from autozone, it took a long time but I am amazed with results and I spent less than 50$

I bought my Bullitt because I love the clean look of a wingless trunk.

The only thing I really don't like is the way the 3rd brake light looks on the wingless trunk lid. If I had it to do over again, I'd try to fill it in and move the brake light to the top of the rear window.
