Re: Need Help on choosing a spoiler

for 99-04 I would recommend

03/04 cobra spoiler
Saleen S281 1 piece (NOT 3 piece) spoiler

Roush is far to high and brings to much visual attention to the rear of the car with the rest of the body parts being stock, the steeda is well... its huge and tall and .. i dont like it at all

I like th 03/04 cobra spoilers they look so nice. u can get a roush spoiler you would just have to make the front look bigger to compensate for the big rear or else it looks awkward

Re: Need Help on choosing a spoiler

I think they look clean with no spoiler, shaped like a bullet. If you definately want one, 03/04 Cobra spoiler.

Re: Need Help on choosing a spoiler

I say go with the Cobra, 03-04 spoiler ..It's visually unobtrusive, and gives , that 'just right look', to the SN95 platform!

Re: Need Help on choosing a spoiler

the issue with 03/04 cobra spoilers is they are a little expensive, the LED tail light in them is about 150 bucks to replace and they like to crack near the screws (one on each end). You can buy one with no 3rd brake light from like ABC exclusive or who ever as well... but its not an OEM one~ not sure about holes wither you may have two to fill if you go with the 03/04 spoiler and a couple more to drill~

Cobra spoilers are nice thanks for feed back guys but the problem is my car isnt a Cobra, it's a GT. You wouldn't put a gt spoiler on a cobra, right guys? I want to stay with the gt style becuz I'm proud to have a GT Stang. Nothing against cobras off course. And gt stour spoilers out there that are not to flashy ?

If you must have a GT style spoiler I think the Steeda is the best looking one.

Steed spoiler is to wide for my taste, if it was 6 inch shorter in width then it would be perfect

Then I guess you made your choice, roush it is. I personally think no spoiler is the best option with the Cobra as the 2nd but to each there own.

I have a 2000 with the smaller stock spoiler from the rest of the 99-04 crowd.

Then I went with the Stage 3 spoiler. had it on for 2 years and just wasn't feeling it and put the stocker back on.

Yup that's what I hated about the Stage 3... it was just too damn high and looked out of place.

My 2000 is in the shop now getting a wingless trunk lid swapped on and painted. Bullitt side scoops, too. I'm going for the smooth look. I'll post some pics when I get it back, hopefully this week.

Personally I hate new edge mstangs that don't have spoilers. The cobra spoiler is small but looks the best. Or just stock gt spoiler.
