Question 96 coupe how to remove kick panel and sill plate

I have a 96 SVT Cobra. My superchip is acting up. I need to know how to remove the passenger side kick panel and sill plate. The directions on the chip site say to remove the screws from the sill plate, but there are no screws. I want to remove the kick panel without bending or breaking it. Thanks, Spiney-Dave

Re: 96 coupe how to remove kick panel and sill plate

Mine does not have any screws. The inside part of the sill seems to snap off but the outside part is giving me much resistance and I hesitate to pull too hard on it.

On mine all I had to do was pull on the sill piece and the clips just came off. The kick panel I believe is just held on by one of those long plastic push pins. You just have to pull on that or even pull on the kick panel and it should come out.
