I agree these brakes are all fantastic but crazy expensive is there a decent price cobra conversion kit or something like that, because think now is it even worth replacing everything and paying crazy amounts of $$$ to stop a few feet shorter, I don't do track days or anything it's a daily driver. after looking at all the prices I might go to autozone and buy remans and paint them too look nice

I got a 2000 GT, I recently did my brakes, what I did was buy slotted fronts from Power Slot, they're about $140 each but they definitely help me stop better even though i kept the stock 2 piston calipers. However, the hawk pads are a good idea if you do that with rotors

Re: Brakes

I've got the HAWK HPS pads and Ford Racing Rotors on my V6. For a DD I'd keep the Stock 2 piston calipers and save the money and buy caliper covers if want to splurge. But you will notice a big difference with the Hawk pads, I notice a difference. Also consider a metal brake lines.

The cobra/mach/bullitt upgrade is worth it. I cant believe the difference it made on my car. I also run hawk pads and ebc rotors. Huge improvment. Almost unbelievable at first
