Been awhile, your opinions...

Been awhile since ive posted here, my daughter, who is only seven months old, had had some medical issues which have been BRUTAL on my wife and myself, so ive been a basketcase the last two months... Anyways, i have a 2001 Mustanh GT 5spd. I had big plans for it, but now im thinking about dumping it and going for a terminator. Its such a nice starting point. The 2v's can be potent, but i would need to spend A LOT of time and money, both of which I dont have.

What do you think I can sell my Mustang for? 2001 GT, 5spd, 59,000 miles, never seen winter, etc... Its pretty spotless, very clean car. How much do you think I can get a 03-04 Cobra for? Id only want white or black, possibly silver/graphite if it was perfect.

Ps, im really drunk, so im sorry for typos an if im not making sense. Ill be trying to post more now since things have settled at home... A little. : /

Re: Been awhile, your opinions...

You can probably get 11-12 for your car depending on the local market if you are willing to wait a bit.

You can also pick up a 03/04 with 80-90K miles for 15-16 if you're patient as well. Might can even find a good deal on a 50-60K mile car for 17-18.

Be sure to research any car you buy and ask plenty of questions. Several of us on here can help with any specifics.

I'm a certified mechanic, and actually own my own service garage. So needless to say, I know my stuff.

Im hoping to find one pretty much bone stock, mainly so I can do all the modifications myself. I love upgrades.

11k for my GT? Thats awesome. Especially considering i bought it for 3k. LOL! I might list it on the classifieds here...

Re: Been awhile, your opinions...

Apparently I was off on my estimates. NADA says 6-8K. Put it up for 10 and pray lol.

LOL!

IMO, edmonds/kbb/etc.. are a little off when referencing a fun/sports car. When theyre spotless with low miles they are worth more.

IE - i had a 2000 ss camaro a few years ago. It blue booked at 11kish, but i sold it for 14k since it was low miles and spotless.

Ill probably list it at 10k. See what happens.

I would check CL and see what something similar to yours is going for. Its a good starting point. Good luck and hope everything on the homefront turns out ok.

On it.

Ill probably list it at $10,999 or something. I'd take the first $10k offer, probably even a little lower. Im not in a rush to get rid of it, so ill be relatively firm on my pricing.

Crossing fingers!

Ps - Anyone have a clean Terminator for sale, lol? Ill have to start looking...
