5% limo tint and amber fogs

So I am sorry everyone for being a bit absent recently but my baby got abused by some red neck thieves and hail so all my free time went to replacing all the stolen items, dealing with insurance, and upgrading my baby as an apology for what those a$$holes did to her

I ended up replacing the two windows that they busted out ..... Took forever to locate my rear quarter panel window........ But I saw the opportunity to strip out all my old mirror tint and install 5%limo all the way around and even get insurance to help me do it lol

And I finally came up with a simple non damaging completely reversible way to turn my fogs the same color amber as my corner lights

Also was able to get a hold of my grille delete pieces to finish her off clean

The only tool out of the 300 ish craftsman tools in my toolbox in the trunk that insurance would cover was my factory wheel lock key (15$) .......so angry ..... Oh well it came in yesterday

Still in the process of replacing stolen items such as my amplifier and radar detector and still have a few of my tools to replace (insurance gave me a big f you on all that) but soon my baby will be better than ever but here she is so far lookin all sexified

Sweet. Looks bad ***! I wanted to go with 5% tint but I already have 15% which is illegal so my hubs said I better not push my luck lol. Next time. If I ever purchase tint again, I'll go 5. Unfortunate what happened to your car but looks freaking sweet!

Yeah I had 18% mirror but since I blacked out so much on my car I just ripped out all the old tint and decided to do it all in limo and couldn't be happier with the results

It was surprisingly easier than I expected only hard part was removing residue from the lower part of the back window ..... Hard to get your hands down in that small space but a little paint thinner a few hours and alot of shop towels later and the windows were looking like new

Re: 5% limo tint and amber fogs

I have yet to tint my windows, I usually do, but I am waiting to see if I need to. The point of my convertible is not to ride with the top up, I also changed my Foglamps to amber, I love the look.

your car looks great!
