Driving home from the am carshow and clutch decides to go on me looks like I got a project this week. I also need some
Advice I am
Positive the clutch is burnt. The car
Moves but the clutch barley grabs the car can move but the clutch burns. And also makes a noise like sand paper on metal and it's the clutch up against the flywheel. I just need to know that it could be a burnt clutch. I am taking it out today. So I will hopefully have some pictures of the project

Re: Clutch just went

that sucks, if you are not planning on huge power mods then the OEm one will do just fine

OEM is great but depending on plans and sometimes money the Spec 1-3 clutches are fairly inexpensive and may handle more power

Well I just took out the old clutch and the clutch side up against the pressure plate is in pieces and bare metal

I wouldn't go through that trouble to just throw a stock clutch in. I'd definitely look for a nice aftermarket one, centerforce df is awesome for example, but I'm biased. The king cobra clutch is fairly inexpensive as well and a pretty good clutch.

Re: Clutch just went

I favor the CenterForce Dual Friction too.
I have had mine in the car for 9 years now and not one bit of trouble.
What I like best is the low pedal effort coupled with the increased holding power and it does hold great.
No slipping in all that time with countless burnouts and powershifts.

Now watch it fail next time out.
