Do u have any vids, is ur car automatic or standard???
I've seen you reply to this question a few times, about Stick or Automatic. It does not matter which one you have, thgey all sound the same. And if anyone else is reading this, could you chime in to this person how it does not matter whether you have a stick or Automatic.

American muscle is a little more expensive and they don't have the h-pipes yet. Cj pony parts can be cheaper at times when they run there 10% and 15% sales if you are part of there emailing list. I don't have any videos yet but I am working on it. My car is a 5spd

These are all very good points!

However, beyond pricing a competitor's advertised price, keep in mind we also offer forums members with 50 posts or more a 6% discount, which may make the product even cheaper from us.

Also, don't forget we have free same-day shipping!

Ok so wat is the difference between " MAC OFF-ROAD PRO CHAMBER H-PIPE STOCK/ SHORTY HEADERS 4.6L 2V/4V 1999-2004" and "MAC OFF-ROAD H-PIPE 2V/4V FOR SHORTY HEADERS OR MANIFOLDS 1999-2004"

The first one is going to be for stock length/style exhaust manifolds, the second one is for longtube headers.

If you have stock headers, you will want the first set, for shorty headers.

This is the prochamber for the stock headers and shortie headers. TRE Performance is free shipping. But American muscle is same day free shipping. Have fun shopping for exhaust it's a huge market to choose from. But I think MAC has the best deal. Notice the MAC's cat-backs has chrome rolled tips that look sweet!

TRUST ME! Lol this decision for me took A LOT of research and advice. For a good deep sound definetely go with the H pipe. x pipes sound awful on GT's. The x pipes are more for cobras with a lot of power. I am in love with the sound of my off road h pipe and flowmaster super 44's make. It was about 100 bucks to install it too.

X-pipes are only good if you have long tube headers other than that it's just a sound thing. People will argue that x pipes hands down put out way more hp but in realty it's minor hp gains. But I will tell u this either way o/r x or h it's better than stock mid pipe

Yeah. I think I read somewhere that the x-pipe vs the h-pipe is only a 1-5rwhp difference in car's over 500rwhp.

I read a few places that the H-Pipe, gives you more Low end torque. Anybody know that to be true, and how much will you notice?? I ask because, I have X-Pipe on both of mines, and I wonder if I would have been better getting the H-Pipe on the V6.

It's argued.. it all comes down to other mods and weather, imo... And placebo effect, ya know? All I know is that my x-pipe from Bassani is sex. Looks great and sounds great. I can't wait to save up and get Bassani cat-backs!

Definetly, get the cat-backs. I'm not upset that I got the X on the V6, it's great, but just wondering if the tone/sound would have sounded better on it with the H.

I have an '05 v6.. I ended up purchasing factory ford racing dual exhaust. I got the X-pipe for what's considered 'true' dual! And even for a v6 it's got a lot more sound! So I would say X-pipe

Thanks Angelus240. I had heard that you get a deeper, lower tone with the H-Pipe. On my GT, it does not matter which one, but on the V6 Camaro, I would think the lower sounding H-Pipe might sound better.

Wow, really? I thought you would get the best sound with the X because it allows for a little less restrictive airflow.. Or at least a little more hp. Do you know if you would see less hp gains with and H pipe than an X?

Many have stated that, you get power with H-Pipe in the lower RPM's, but you get higher power with the X-Pipe in the higher RPM range. And just thinking basics, I figure the X on the GT in the upper speeds, but in the V6 Camaro, the lower speed tones would be better suited, and besides, who is gonna be a high speeds in a V6 Camaro anyway.

Maybe, I've done a lot of stuff to that Camaro, it far outdoes a Camaro RS and it's only a Camaro LT. Many SS Camaros that pull next to it can't tell if it's a SS or what, by sound, and anyone who has driven it say's it's fast as hell. Because of what i've done to the wife's Camaro, there has probably been many people that have gone out and bought one cause of me.
