02 Mustang GT 4.6

Not sure what I did but the other day after sitting for a while I took my 02 Mustang GT out for a drive. This car has about
104k on it with no mods other than exhaust. Well when I took off it seemed a bit sluggish at low rpm but once I got the rpms
up it seemed to be fine. After doing some reading on here it seemed like the common cause on this was to pull the COP's off
and check to see if the intake had been leaking around the plugs. I pulled all of them off and everything was dry and all
the connections look good. I did just replace the plugs about 2000 miles ago that resolved another miss issue I previously had
Well, once I put them all back on I took it out for a drive and its worse. Looking at the motor while running I noticed a couple
things. Attached is a picture. the hose with the outline in red collapses when the motor is running (leads to the Valve cover) and the arrow outlined
in black doesnt have anything attached. What did I hookup wrong?

Thanks!!!!

Re: 02 Mustang GT 4.6

Just had the same issue, its the pvc hoses and valve. Go to the parts store and buy a new valve made by motorcraft for 8 bucks and get some ne hose. My car ran a hell of a lot better after I did this. (you have to transfer the 90 degree plastic turn form you old valve to the new on which will take some working.)

Hope this helps you!

I replaced the hose and pvc valve and its still collapsing the hose at an idle. If I rev the motor up a I see it expand a bit but then it shrinks right back down. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
