Hey guys I am thinking about doing a 5.4l swap in my 96 gt, I want close to 500hp. Will dohc cobra 4.6l heads fit on the 5.4? Has anyone done this swap?

You can put 4.6 heads on any 5.4. Going from sohc to dohc is a pain though. You will needs chains guides tensioners and timing cover. You also need either intake adapters or the hardballer intake

What 5.4 is it? You'll get some gain but not to much if its like a f150 5.4

Yes they will work fine on the 5.4 if they are shorties. If you plan on using longtubes then you will have clearance problems because the 5.4 is wider.
