Re: headlight restoration best product?

your headlights will have a 'clear coat' on them~ so if you sand to much you may cut through it

I think Mothers or Meguiars one makes a headlight restoration kit that comes with everything you need. Give that a try before you buy new headlights

If you dont take care of them it will return, so wax them just like the paint regularly

Re: headlight restoration best product?

some aftermarket headlights (not ford factory ones) will have condensation issues if you dont re-seal them good before use~ so ive heard.

I have ONE OEM headlight, just has some pealing clear coat on the amber area. Its a driverside headlight I will sell it cheap its an OEM ford unit, if interested just let me know, had no hazing or anything just the pealing (some do that from the factory fyi)

Re: headlight restoration best product?

The best solution to your problem is a brand new pair of headlights lol I also tried a bunch of products and I even sanded the lens' too which worked fine for about 3 months. I found really nice smoked ones on EBay for $100 shipped. Well worth the money, now my car looks WAY newer.
