ujoints

I have a sneaking suspicion that I've got a bad ujoint. Getting a whine while cruising and some loud pops on low speed. I've already eliminated the rear diff as the culprit. Gonna get under it tomorrow. What should I look for?

Push and down and side to side on the driveshaft. If joints are bad you will feel slop. Also take a look at trans mount

OK after the new trans mount and ujoints the noise still exists. Could it be from excessive lash in the rear diff or could bad engine mounts make this sound. As before its only around low speed turns and only when the clutch is disengaged

It could be so many things. Check control arm bushings next
