I'd say rear gears and full exhaust. Those are probably the best way to mod your car right off the bat. Make it sound meaner and make it take off faster.

With an auto and plan on drag racing I would say a stall and gears. Stall is going to be where see biggest difference at the track. For just daily driving gears and exhaust.

If u don't have a TUNER, forget all the other mods. Get a SCT or Diablo Preditor.

Tuner for automatic is huge difference. Gears help alot and exhaust sounds great but dont forget cobra/mach/bullitt brakes. Id hafta to say other than my supercharger thats my favorite mod

Sparkplugs-100.00
Underdrive pulleys- 214.00
Lowering springs-184.00
Strut brace- 99.00
Lower control arm- 130.00
Exhaust- 349.00
Gears 4.10+kit+install-600.00

The prices are rough and these parts besides the gears are fairly easy installs,i wouldnt pick a bunch of parts to where installs will drain your funds.

Ok I'm going to take a totally different angle on this one and assume it's a daily driver. I personally would take that cash and go buy you as much for your suspension and front end as you can. I have a 99 dodge and when I got it I spent about 4-500 on my front end in brakes rotors bearings and mostly upper and lower ball joints... Got it all finished and I felt like I had a brand new truck. I'm a firm believer in building on a stout foundation. Take a little cash for the foundation and I would say keep enough aside for a tuner on top of it.

Sct tuner (so every mod you get...your car will be running correcty) - $375

3.73 gears+rebuild kit+install (3.73 gears will be much better on gas than 4.10's and you will still see a big difference) - $600

Summit racing off road h pipe (an off road h pipe will give it more power and a great sound...the car will throw a check engine light unless you have a sct tuner) - $260 installed.

20% Window tints (makes it look sweet!) - $140

Mach 1 chin spoiler and grill delete. - $130

Total = $1505

Do you think I should drop the windows and the chin spoiler and just get some headers?

I've installed headers on a buddies before they were bbk shorties. But I'm just thinking why get an o/r hpipe and have flows then not have full aftermarket exhaust

I have shortys as well but in all honesty thry arent worth the cost. Long tubes are another story but shortys wont do much. Deff not enough to justify the cost.

If you planning on drag racing this car, and you don't have an upgraded suspension you can for get all added horsepower from other parts. If you don't have a suspension to keep the car going straight the added horsepower will just hurt you. My 01 GT with a full upgraded suspension exhaust and cai 13.8 1/4 from a 14.2
