X-Pipe

Hi there, my buddy is trying to sell his o/r X-Pipe that he had on his his 1996 Mustang GT. I was just wondering if it will fit my 2003 Mustang GT? If so, I think I'm going to buy it lol. Thanks!

Lol well idk about length wise but you can make it work for the right price. But you can buy a o/r x for roughly 200 so it's gotta be a really good price cause idk about you but 200 isn't much to me. Also does he have long tubes or anything cause that would matter

Well considering that I make a bit over $200 in 2 weeks since I have a part time job, I have to pay 2 small bills, pump gas on my V8, and I'm a student; $200 is quite a bit for me lol. And no he doesn't have long tubes. He's selling it for $80 and it looks good

I'd just measure it and see. If it measures out it should be good

I just checked American muscle and looked at 96-98 BBK x-pipe and 99-04 BBK x-pipe. They have 2 different part numbers. I would say the two are not interchangeable.

the only thing different bout the two is most likely a smog tube location... demension wise 86-04 are the same.

Yea I'd honestly buy it from him for that price and save to buy some headers and wherever else you need to complete your exhaust. Exhaust can turn your car into a whole new animal, and that's not just sound wise too. I have a twin brother with a z28 5.7 and my 4.6 sounds just as mean and aggressive as a motor more then a liter larger then it.
