New wheels!

Just ordered a pair of 18x10 Anthracite Bullitt wheels from Latemodel Restoration! They should ship tomorrow, and I'm planning on keeping the stock 17 bullitt wheels up front and throwing these 18's in the back; now I know the colors won't match but I'm planning on powder coating them a dark grey and leave the lip the same (:
I'll take pics when they come in!
My only question is.... What tires should I wrap them in? I want that mean stance!

Re: New wheels!

I would get the Nitto NT555's. They're a great performance tire for a reasonable price. I got mine for $180 a piece for 275 40 18's. On a 10" rim I would use 305's for that mean look but that's only my opinion.

Yeah, 305's are what I'm looking at... They're a bit pricey but they look worth it. I'm tight on cash so the wheels are probably gonna sit till mid October when I take care of bills and ha e spare cash for tires

U may need to modify some stuff (rolled fender lip, gentel message of the inner fender with a hammer) to fit 305 wide with out rubbing.

You shouldn't need to modify. I'm lowered 2" and I have 17x10.5 with 315s and I don't rub. It's tight but it doesnt rub.

Re: New wheels!

you should not rub unless you put alot of weight in the back, my friends cobra is lower 2" and have the same set up as Ksrumble. that car looks sick as **** from the back. however it i was you i would have gotten 17" rims just because the tires are so much more cheaper believe t or not
