Dying GT :(

I need some advice...I've a 1997 gt, it seems to run great for a few miles but than dies. If I wait a few hrs it'll start rt up like nothing was wrong, but than it will die again and just turn over but seems to get no fuel. But again, as before, in time it'll start rt up like nothing was wrong!! I put a 190 lph fuel pump in the tank like two months ago ran grt till now. New help, any would be great, I'm clueless

could be your fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump may be a dud.

Sounds like a relay. Just had this happen with an excursion. It would run grest for about ten minutes but then the relay would heat up amd cut out. Check for voltage at the pump and run vehicle at idle while watching the voltage to the pump. If it drops voltage you know its the relay. The fuel pump relay is built in to the CCRM
