Swap?

I have a friend who had bought a 95 mustang with a few bolts ons.

He found a supercharged 96 GT and was wondering if you can swap out the mods.

Aluminum Drive Shaft
CC plates
Lowering Springs
Maximum Motor Sport Lower Control
Tokio Shocks
70 mm Throttle body

Re: Swap?

sooo the '96 is a 4.6 and the '95 is a 5.0? if the motors are different. all the parts will swap over minus the blower, the throttle body, the long tube headers, and the blower.

everything else u listed will swap

The 5.0 has a blown motor. He is gunna buy the 96. Just wants to know if the suspension and stuff with work. I figured after the exhaust system wouldn't work.

Re: Swap?

yup it will all fit. i transplanted everything from my 92 coupe to my 96. rear uca/lca, sway bar, full exhaust front to back.

besides the headers cause of the motor obviously, but the mid pipe should swap and the muffler section is a definate

just so u know, u can swap everything from a fox all the way up to '04 with very lil modification.

the main chassis difference is that ford moved the motor back 1 inch for weight transfer and handeling with the 94-04. doesnt seem like alot, but it is.

long story short.. your buddy is in good shape
